Homewood

Homeowners can easily access downtown on foot, as well as quickly commute out of the city.

Welcome to Homewood

Beginning in 1916, the community of Homewood continues to gain in popularity every day. Throughout the years, with the help of the Germantown-Homewood Association, this urban subdivision of Annapolis has kept its appeal and character. A minimal number of quaint businesses line West Street without blending into the neighborhood. The Homewood properties are tucked behind the active streets of Annapolis, making it safe and private for residents. Homeowners can easily access downtown on foot, as well as quickly commute out of the city through West Street.

Most homes are single-family with a fair amount of green space. They differ in size and construction, depending on the time period built. Similar to other Annapolis neighborhoods, Homewood’s community members have access to a variety of amenities. Many residents also look forward to the new Annapolis library, which is within walking distance and opening in 2020. If you are in the area, be sure to visit Carleson’s Donuts, Ceremony Coffee, and Paul’s Cafe.
