MARYLAND HOME PRICES CONTINUED TO CLIMB IN APRIL

Market Update for Maryland statewide and the greater Annapolis area

Residential home prices climbed in April compared to the same period of 2017, according to Maryland REALTORS. Average home prices rose by 3.1 percent for the third month in a row, while median prices increased by 3.9 percent as compared to the same time in 2017.
“For the third month in a row, we have seen increases in average and median residential home sale prices, while the months of available inventory continues to drop,” said Maryland REALTORS President Boyd Campbell. “We would like to see more units on the market,” added Campbell, “This would maintain the balance that has allowed prices to increase at a sustainable pace.”
